HOW TO USE IT
- Charge fully before first use (Type-C, approx. 1–2 hours).
- 15–20 minutes before bed: sit or lie in a dim, quiet space.
- Hold the device in your palm with the metal contact points touching your skin.
- Press the power button. Select Sleep mode.
- Begin at level 1. You will feel a gentle pulse. Stay here for 2–3 nights to allow your body to adjust.
- Increase to level 2 or 3 once level 1 feels subtle. Find the level where the pulse is present but does not compete with your thoughts.
- Set the device on the nightstand when ready for sleep — it auto shuts off at 20 minutes.
Important: Higher intensity is not more effective. The goal is gentle, consistent stimulation. Start low and stay at the minimum level that works for you.

What does it actually feel like?
At low levels, a gentle tingling or electrical pulse in your palm. At higher levels, a more pronounced sensation. It should never feel painful. If any level causes discomfort, reduce immediately. The correct sensation is one you can hold for 20 minutes without focusing on it.
How is this different from high-end CES devices?
The technology is similar — both are CES (Cranial Electrotherapy Stimulation) devices. Premium clinical devices like Alpha-Stim cost $800–$1,000+, require prescriptions, and use earclip electrodes. The Sleep Signal uses the same general technology at a significantly lower entry point in a palm-held form factor. Results vary by individual, as with any wellness technology.
How long until I notice a difference?
Some users notice a difference on the first or second night. Most report meaningful changes within 3–7 nights of consistent use. Use it at the same time each night as part of a wind-down routine — consistency of timing appears to strengthen results.
Can I use it if I have a pacemaker or medical implant?
No. The device uses low-level electrical current and must not be used by anyone with implanted electrical devices (pacemakers, cochlear implants, etc.) or skin conditions, wounds, or eczema on the palms. If you are pregnant or under care for a neurological condition, consult your doctor before use.
Why start at level 1?
Level 1 is where most people find their effective baseline. Higher levels are not inherently more effective — they are simply more intense. Starting low lets your body respond to the minimum effective stimulus. Many regular users settle permanently at levels 2–4. Starting too high is the most common reason first-time users report discomfort.
Is it safe to use every night?
Yes, with normal use as described. The device is designed for nightly use. Auto shut-off prevents overexposure. Do not use more than one session per night.
